My name is Salena Oppenheimer. I have 12 years experience as a freelance graphic designer and 9 years experience supporting people with their Mac computers.  I spent 20 years living in Bali, Thailand, India and Hong Kong working amongst a wide variety of people from all walks of life. I noticed that many people felt left behind as technological changes began to revolutionize our lives.  Most of the IT professionals I met were purely solution-focused, often worked ridiculously fast and didn't have the patience to really help people who felt challenged by technology. They just weren't interested in empowering people with new skills and giving them confidence. I realised that I enjoyed working with people more than I enjoyed the pressurised world of graphic design deadlines. There was definitely a gap in the market for a more supportive and caring approach to technology. I also work as a freelance proof-reader, researcher and editor and have 12  years experience as a workshop facilitator.

Salena not only helped me find solutions after my computer crashed, but she also explained the possible future steps towards finding a new computer and additional resources. She really is really willing to go the extra mile
